| JOSÉPHINE BAKER
Le 2 octobre 1925, le Théâtre des Champs-Elysées présente La Revue Nègre, spectacle musical uniquement joué par des artistes afro-américains. En première partie, une jeune fille va émouvoir le tout Paris avec sa Danse sauvage. Elle s'appelle Joséphine Baker... ...Le Président de la République l'a ratifié. Le 30 novembre 2021, 46 ans après sa mort, Joséphine Baker est la sixième femme (et évidemment la première femme afro-américaine !) à avoir cet honneur posthume de rentrer dans l'édifice national du Panthéon trônant, à Paris, sur la place dite des Grands Hommes.

Grand homme politique né le 3 septembre 1859, créateur du journal L’Humanité et ardent défenseur de la paix, Jean Jaurès est mort assassiné, victime de ses idées, à la veille de la Première Guerre Mondiale. Socialiste dans l’âme, il n’a pas connu le Parti Socialiste de Mitterrand. ...S’il revenait, il prendrait sans doute la parole, empruntant à Zola son J’accuse ! Pour mieux haranguer les usurpateurs qui sont en train de vendre l’esprit de la gauche qu’il a su si bien incarner !

| JOHN FIZTGERALD KENNEDY
Il y a 62 ans, le 22 novembre 1963, à 12h30 sur la Dealey Plaza de Dallas au Texas, on tirait sur le 35ème Président des États-Unis élu en 1961, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, alias JFK. Cet événement, répercuté par des médias en pleine expansion internationale, grâce à la télévision qui envahit le monde, aura un impact populaire comparable au Débarquement du 6 juin 1944, aux premiers pas de l'Homme sur la Lune en 1969 ou, plus proche de nous, aux attentats du 11 septembre 2001. ...Dès l'annonce de la nouvelle, la planète entière pleure un Président jeune, dynamique, actif et charismatique souhaitant plus de paix et de fraternité. Tous ceux qui ont vécu ce moment de tristesse universelle s'en souviennent encore. Si Kennedy fait partie de leur histoire personnelle, il fait aussi partie de la légende collective à cause de sa mort dans des circonstances aussi supectes que controversées. Les pistes envisagées pour l'expliquer passent par la mafia américaine, la guerre froide et les espions russes, les agents de la CIA ou du FBI, les rivaux ou faux-amis politiques et les grands marchands d'armes qui veillent farouchement sur le deuxième amendement de la Constitution américaine. Sans parler de la théorie de la balle unique (que ses détracteurs appelleront la balle magique) qui prétend qu'une seule balle (retrouvée intacte et classée par la Commission Warren comme pièce à conviction CE399) est entrée dans le dos de Kennedy selon un angle de 17° vers le bas avant de remonter pour ressortir à l'avant de son cou, de virer à droite pour atteindre le dos du Gouverneur Connally par l'aisselle droite, de redescendre briser sa cinquième côte, de ressortir de son corps, de virer à droite, de repénètrer dans son poignet droit en lui brisant le radius et lui coupant net le tendon du pouce puis de ressortir encore, en faisant un demi-tour pour, enfin, se loger dans sa cuisse gauche ! Miracle ! Elle est finalement retrouvée pratiquement intacte sur un chariot de l'hôpital Parkland Memorial où l'on déclare la mort du Président. On apprend de plus en plus de détails au fil du temps sur ce mystère qui résiste depuis 60 ans à une kyrielle de détectives et les derniers témoignages direct (comme celui de Clint Hill, le garde du corps qui escalade l'arrière de la voiture) montrent que la trajectoire des balles n'est pas d'arrière en avant mais bien d'avant en arrière. Le Gouveneur du Texas, témoin on ne peut plus direct pusiqu'il était à bord de la voiture et qu'il a été sévèrement blessé a affirmé au magazine Life : « Je sais absolument qu'une balle a causé la blessure du président et qu'un tir séparé m'a touché. Je ne changerai jamais d'opinion ». Combien de tireurs ? Combien de balles ? Après la mort de JFK, Lyndon Johnson prend la successions et sera à son tour élu Président des Etats-Unis en 1964. Sous son mandat, seront assassinés Malcom X, Martin Luther King,... Robert Kennedy et les Etats-Unis s'engageront dans l'un de leur plus désastreux fiasco militaire, la guerre du Viêt Nam.

| LES COULISSES DU D-DAY
Cette vidéo utilise des images issues d’un film de l’office de la guerre américain et préservées par les Archives Nationales des USA. Elles montrent, sous un angle peu connu, l'ambiance des préparatifs en Angleterre, l’intensité de la traversée de la Manche et « reconstituent » l'assaut héroïque du Jour J sur les plages de Normandie. Même si elles participent de la propagande de leur époque, elles font désormais partie de la mémoire collective.... 80 ans plus tard, nous voulons dédier ce montage aux GI's tombés à Utah et Omaha en grande partie parce que les chars américains avaient coulé et n'avaient donc pas "nettoyé" les plages avant la charge de l'infanterie, comme ça a été le cas dans les secteurs anglo-canadiens-français de Gold, Juno et Sword. Nous voulons rappeler le fait que 3 000 victimes civiles normandes sont tombées sous la mitraille le seul jour du 6 juin 1944 (400 000 lors de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale). On a appelé ce massacre, le prix de la liberté. On en parle encore trop peu, même si François Hollande a officiellement reconnu… en 2014, le martyr des populations locales au cours de la Bataille de Normandie. Nous voulons avoir aussi une pensée pour les photographes et les cameramen de guerre qui ont pris les mêmes risques que les soldats et sans lesquels, on n'aurait jamais vu ce qui s’est passé, le 6 juin 1944, sur les plages de Normandie. L'Histoire jugera dit-on... Juger, c'est l'affaire des juges. Pour les autres, que la mémoire des guerres mondiales leur serve à faire en sorte que cela ne se reproduise plus jamais. Et c'est vraiment d'actualité...
